Doa Mahfil at Uttara University

Uttara University Cultural Club organized a discussion program and Doa Mahfil on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan on June 10, 2016.

The program was held at the main auditorium of the University. Vice-Chancellor of Uttara University Professor Dr. M. Azizur Rahman was the chief guest at the discussion program chaired by the University Treasurer Professor Momtaz Begum.

Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Yesmin Ara Lekha, Registrar Kazi Mohiuddin and members of the Board of Trustees Nabid Aziz was the special guests. Chairman of Islamic Studies department of the University Dr. ATM Shamsuddoha was discussed about the sanctity of Ramadan.

Account BenefitUniversity Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Azizur Rahman urged the students to play a role in establishing world peace. Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Yesmin Ara Lekha in her speech, urged the students to build the Islamic values in life.

Later, the country and its people's prosperity and world peace were seeking in a special prayer. At the beginning of the ceremony, Mrs. Selina Sajjad recited the Holy Quran. Later, the members of Cultural Club performed Hamd, Naat and Ghazals.
