Demand for MPO-Listing

Bangladesh Private College Honors-Masters Teachers Council press home their 9-point demand including MPO-listing for the Honors-Masters teachers appointed in different colleges under the National University (NU).

The demand was presented at a press conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity on August 05, 2016 (Friday). President of the organization Kazi Md. Faruq and General Secretary and Kazi Kamrujjaman including members and teachers of the organization briefed the demands at the press conference.

The speakers urged the authority to open Honors and Masters Courses at the district and upazila level through considering population and other aspects by no opening the course everywhere. The organization's activists demanded to bring the Honors-Masters course under the principles.

Account BenefitThe demands are- coordination between the Ministry of Education and the National University through changing the traditional structure of manpower, include the new manpower structure honors-master's courses according to the Rules and Regulations of the National University, quick MPO listing for teachers and staffs appointed in Honors-Masters course, form the Ministry of Higher Education, introduction of the rules of paying pension gratuity on the day of joining, an extra clerk and an accountant at the private Honors-Masters colleges, and one fourth class employee for each of the departments.
