Rajshahi College Tops in Rajshahi Board HSC Result 2013
Rajshahi College occupied first position in the list of 20 top educational institutions in the results of HSC examinations-2013 of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rajshahi.
Of the total of 600 examinees, 593 came out successful and 435 students got GPA-5 in the examination scoring maximum 9.60 points.
Pabna Cadet College and Rajshahi Cadet College jointly
captured the second position scoring the maximum 10 points each.
All of the examinees - 49 and 42 respectively got GPA-5.
Joypurhat Girls Cadet College secured third position scoring
maximum 9.98 points and all its 42 examinees got GPA-5 followed
by Bogra Cantonment Public School and College that scored maximum
9.72 points and 439 got GPA-5 of total 725 examinees.
New Government Degree College, Rajshahi, secured fifth
position scoring maximum 9.23 points and its 700 examinees got
GPA-5 of a total of 1196 students appearing in the examination.
Bogra Government AH College, who appears in the examination
with highest number of 1455 students under the board, secured the
sixth position scoring the maximum 9.14 points and its 891
students got GPA-5 among 1581 examinees.
Other top listed institutions are (according to the merit
list): Quadirabad Cantonment Sapper College, Natore, Sirajgonj
Ullapara Science College, Sirajgonj Govt. College, Shahid Bulbul
Govt. College, Pabna, Rajshahi Govt. City College, Naogaon Govt.
College, Rajshahi University School and College, SOS Hermann
Gmeiner College, Bogra, Al Hera Academy School and College, Bera,
Pabna, Chapainawabgonj Government College, Pabna Govt. Women's
College, Rajshahi Govt. Women's College, Joypurhat Govt. College,
Palli Unnayan Academy laboratory School and College, Bogra and
Singra Damdama Pilot School and College.
According to the board's result sheet, the Board attained
77.69-pass percentage in the HSC examination of 2013 declined by
0.75 percent than 2012.
Professor SMA Huraira, Controller of Examinations of the Board, told news media that a total of 7,666 students bagged GPA-5 among the
total 81,631 passed in the examination this year.
In terms of pass percentage, the girls' examinees have done
well than the boys students scoring 80.72 pc and 75.05 pc
respectively. Prof Huraira says 1,05,072 students including
48,964 girls appeared in the examination from 645 colleges in 180
centers in eight districts under the board. The number of 100 pc
passed colleges is nine while not a single student passed from
