Currently the military having the administrative power of Thailand. But there is no fluctuation or stagnation. Because, people here, do not have much time for thinking about that.
They are busy with their own business or profession. And the government is engage with the country's development plan and its implementation. As part of that the Thai government has taken the initiative to move forward their education sector at any cost.
As a result, they allotted 20 percent of the country's budget in this sector for the current fiscal year, which is 3 times more than in their last budget. They spend a large part of the budget in the research studies. The purpose is to improve the quality of education as well as raised it to an international standard.

Kasetsart University:
Kasetsart University is a public university inThailand. It is ranked at number 401-500 in the world by QS. It was the first agricultural university and the third oldest university in Thailand. It was established on 2 February 1943, to promote subjects related to agricultural science. Since then, Kasetsart University has expanded its subject areas to cover science, arts, social sciences, humanities, education, engineering, and architecture. The university also intends to include medicine and health science. Kasetsart University now has seven campuses. The main campus is at Bang Khen, Bangkok. With an enrollment of 58,000 students, it is the largest university in Thailand.
Mahidol University:
Mahidol University is a public research university in Bangkok, Thailand. It was established in 1888 as School of Medical Practitioners, Siriraj Hospital (now Siriraj Medical School) and reorganized in 1943 as University of Medical Sciences. The university originally focused on Health Sciences but also expanded to other fields in recent decades. MU hosted the first medical school of Thailand, the Siriraj Medical School, from which the university traced its origin. Today, MU offers a range of graduate (mostly international) and undergraduate programs from natural sciences to liberal arts with remote campuses in Kanchanaburi, Nakhon Sawan, and Amnat Charoen provinces. In terms of fiscal budget and portion of budget spent on research programs, MU receives the highest budget of any public university; about $147 million each year, most of which is granted for graduate research programs. Mahidol University has been ranked Thailand's No. 1 university in 2011 by QS Asian University Rankings. In 2015, Mahidol University was ranked as one of the World's Top 100 universities at which to study medicine, according to the QS World University Rankings.

The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) is a private nonprofit higher education institution located in Bangkok, Thailand. The university's origin dates back to 1940, with the foundation of the College of Commerce in Bangkok. In 1984, the college was granted full university status under its present name.
The university is academically organized into eight schools: Business, Accountancy, Economics, Humanities, Science, Communication Arts, Engineering, and Law.
