United Kingdom (UK) is the top choice of Bangladeshi students for higher education. A large part of the Bangladeshi students went for higher education in the United Kingdom as well as various universities in the world.

The British Council has arranged special education fair every year to give information about the different universities in the UK for Bangladeshi students. The education fair will take place at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka from February 12 and 13, 2015 for the university students. The fair will be held at the Peninsula Hotel, Chittagong on February 15, 2015 and Roseview Hotel, Sylhet on February 18, 2015.

The fair will run from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the three places. Coordinator of Services for International Education Marketing Project of British Council, Segufta Ahmed said about the purpose of the Fair, "Our main goal is to create opportunities for the students who want to study abroad for higher education, so they can search their favorite courses and educational institutions. The opportunity to talk with the representatives of different institutions of UK is available at this education fair."

Recognized and renowned educational institutions of UK are taking part in the fair like every year.

Students have the opportunity to collect study-related information as well as scholarships and research opportunities information. Other services of British Council as well as UK education-related information can be found at the fair.

Segufta said, IELTS test and course information, Spoken English related information and the British Council library related information can be found at the fair. Students must register to participate in the fair.

An entrance card will be sent in e-mail after registration, and can be accessed the education fair by submitting the printed copy of that entrance card. Not only the students, parents and guardians also will be able to collect information on education at the fair.
