Smart Home & Autonomous Vehicle Parking System of Bangladeshi Students

Creativity of Bangladeshi young's is surprising all. Their hard working mentality and determination is taking Bangladesh to the infinite world of digitalization.

We are now giving you an information of such type of invention that will flourish your mind and you will be interested to make a "Home, Sweet Home". Recently three students of East West University have made an autonomous system which they called "Smart home and autonomous vehicle parking system". They are Toufiqul Hasan Samrat, Hasanul Banna and Shafayet Haque.

Everything of this system is computer software orientated. A remote control switching device will control the activities of the house. Moreover, the door of the house is password protected, if any one doesn't know the password, he will be failed to enter into the house. Moreover, the garage of the house is Microcontroller controlled. It will help the drivers to inform them about the vacant parking position in the garage.

We have seen such automated smart system in abroad, like - As you walk through the door, enjoy home automation by pressing the "Home" button to turn on specific lights in the house, set a pre-determined temperature, play your favorite music, and activate the jets to your hot tub. As you leave the house, press the "Away" button for automated lighting control that turns off and closes specific lights and shades, adjusts the heat or air conditioning, and activates your security system.

Trigger your morning wake-up to open the shades, activate intelligent lighting to turn on select lights, and play music or turn on your favorite TV or radio programming.

Perform any of these home control functions and more when away from home using Savant's Automation Application on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

But this is now possible in Bangladesh with a lower cost.

The main member of the project Toufiqul Hasan Samrat said, "The main touch point of the project is that, you don't need any lock, key or switch to enter your house. When you stand in front of your door, it will open automatically."

Another member, Shafayet Haque said, "When the rain begin, the system will automatically shut down the windows, you don't have to shut down. Everything will be automatic."

Hasanul Banna said about the project, "We have to use more technology to move forward with the global tech world. For that, we need more opportunity of research and financial help form larger institutes."

It is to be informed that, this project won the first prize in the National Electronics project competition on April 4, 3013.
