Science Festival-2017 at JU

With the slogan 'Storm Your Brain, Explore Your Innovation', Jahangirnagar University Science Club (JUSC) is going to organize a two-day 'SIBL-JUSC Science Festival 2017' on February 10, 2017 on the university campus.

Abu Sayeed, president of JUSC, disclosed this at a press conference held at JUJA office on the campus on January 25, 2017 (Wednesday).

Interested students of universities, colleges and schools can register their names through the website: (www.jusc.bd) till February 07, 2017. JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Farzana Islam will inaugurate the festival, said Abu Sayeed.

The festival will be held in three categories include science quiz (registration fees Tk. 100), project show (registration fees Tk. 500) and scientific poster presentation (registration fees Tk. 500). Besides, the festival also includes discussion, prize giving and inaugural and concluding sessions.

Account BenefitAbu Sayeed said, "We will be able to accommodate seven universities, ten colleges and 15 schools to participate in the festival initially as per the plan. So first-come-first-in will be our basic selection criteria."
