Awami League presidium member Advocate Sahara Khatun said Bangladesh witnessed a huge development as the incumbent government has been implementing different time befitting initiatives.

"Awami League government is an education friendly government. The government has set an example by distributing textbooks among children on the very first of New Year in every year", she told a fresher's reception ceremony of Class XI Milestone College at Dia Bari campus.

Sahara said the present government has initiated the use of the advanced technology in the education sector which has brought an enormous opportunity for the students to prepare themselves as global standard.

The AL leader called upon student to work for the betterment of the country imbued with non communal and progressive ideology. Milestone College Principal Professor Md. Shahidul Islam also addressed the function.
