PSTU Celebrated 46th Victory Day 2016

PSTU observed victory day

The 46th Victory Day 2016 was celebrated at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) with various programs in a festive manner.

The Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shamsuddin at 7:30 am in the morning paid tribute to the liberation war martyrs by placing wrath at the foot of the Jai Bangla in the campus on December 16, 2016 (Friday).

Dean of the different faculties, Registrar, chairman of the department, teachers, staff and students of the University were present at the time. Various organization of the university paid respects at the foot of the Joy Bangla.

Hoisting the national flag and the Victory Day parade was held at 8:00 am. Apart this, a colorful rally of Victory Day was brought out from the campus at 9:00 am. The rally was paraded inside and the main roads of outside.

Account BenefitA discussion program presided over by the Registrar Professor Jehad Parvez was held in the University auditorium at 9:30 am. The meeting was addressed by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shamsuddin as the chief guest.

The meeting was hosted by Dr. Gopal Saha also addressed by Professor AKM Mostafa Zaman, Professor Swadesh Chandra Samanta, Professor Dr. Sultan Mahmud, BCL President Md. Anisuzzaman Anis, general secretary Raihan Ahmed Rimon and student Md. Nayeem Hossain.

In addition, friendly volleyball competition at 11:00 am, Dua & Prayers at 1:30 pm noon, cultural program and art exhibition was held at 6:00 pm evening.
