GUCC Organized Annual Cultural Competition 2016

Cultural competition at GUB

Green University Cultural Club (GUCC) organized 'Annual Cultural Competition 2016' on 26 & 27 November 2016 at Green Seminar Hall.

Total 1 hundred and 30 students of different departments participated in ten different events in the competition. The events were included Bangla Poem Recitation, English Poem Recitation, Solo Acting, Dance, Patriotic Song, Nazrul Song, Tagore Song, Folk Song, Modern Song, and Guiter Play.

The event was organized with a view to acclimatize University students with the national cultural legacy of Bangladesh, and create an opportunity for celebrating them. The whole program was conducted by Khan Niaz, President of GUCC and MAG Osmani, General Secretary of GUCC.

Account BenefitProfessor Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice-Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh was the Chief Guest and Mr. Md. Shahid Ullah, Treasurer and Director of Student Affairs of Green University was the Special Guest in the award giving ceremony.

Mr. Maruf Rahman, Moderator of Green University Cultural Club, Professor Dr. Golam Ahmed Faruqui, Dean of Green Business School and Chairpersons of different departments were also present in the competition. Total thirty students from different departments of the university received crests and certificates who achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in the competition.
