Farewell ceremony held at BU

The farewell ceremony of the 33rd batch of Business Administration Department of Bangladesh University (BU) and reception for 44th and 45th batches students was held on campus with colorful events.

Secretary of the Bangladesh University Board of Trustees Engineer MA Gholam Dastagir inaugurated the program on the University campus on October 10, 2016 (Monday).

Vice-Chancellor (Acting) of Bangladesh University Professor Dr. Golam Rahman attended the program as special guest. The program was chaired by Professor Ashraf Uddin Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration.

In his chief guest speech Engineer Gholam Dastagir said, "There is no alternative of the business education for the country's economic development. Since, its establishment, the authorities of Bangladesh University has been working for the welfare of students through putting supreme importance to the business studies. I am very optimistic about the future of BU business administration department students."

A colorful cultural program in the student's participation was held in the second phase of the program. Earlier, the chief guest cut a cake with the leaving students. Teachers, students of the department and a large number of invited guests attended the program.
