Digital attendance at BAU

Digital Attendance System has been introduced for officers and staffs of the Registry and the Accounting section of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU).

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Ali Akbar was inaugurated the system at around 1:00 pm in the main administrative building of the University on September 27, 2016 (Tuesday).

The timetable of the officers and staffs will be maintained through this Digital Attendance Device made with Korean technology. The officials will be able to enter their attendance through finger prints or punched cards.

Experimental punch card method has been introduced for 400 officers and employees at the first stage of the system, but nearly 1 lakh card users and 1024 groups can be brought under the system.

Account BenefitSince the procedure is in experimental stage, the old attendance sheet system also upheld for the officers and staffs.

The opening ceremony was attended by the university's student affairs adviser Professor Dr. Sacchidananda Das Chowdhury, Proctor Professor Dr. AKM Zakir Hossain, acting registrar Md. Saiful Islam and officers-staffs of registry and accounting section.
