CoU to Reopen after 55 Days Long Closure

CoU to reopen on Sep 25

Comilla University (CoU) will be reopened on September 25, 2016 after ending indefinite closure. Public relations officer of the University Emdadul Haque confirmed that on September 18, 2016 (Sunday) through a press release.

According to the press release, the decision was taken at the 63rd Syndicate meeting on August 30, 2016. Academic program of the campus will be launched on September 25, 2016. Residential halls of the University will be opened on September 24, 2016 (Saturday).

Account BenefitThe press release also said, all type of meetings, gatherings and processions had been banned in the University compound until further notice. The decision was taken to open campus after 55 days long closure.

The authorities of Comilla University (CoU) have closed the university for an indefinite period following the murder of a student Khaled Saifullah in the BCL factional clash on August 01, 2016.
