Anti-terrorism discussion at AUB

Asian University of Bangladesh (AUB) organized a discussion on anti-terrorism and extremism on September 03, 2016 at the AUB auditorium.

Founder and Vice-Chancellor of Asian University of Bangladesh Professor Dr. Abul Hasan Muhammad Sadeq attended the program as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, the honorable Vice-Chancellor said, there is no place for terrorism in Islam. Youths of the country are being led off track due to the providers of incorrect interpretation of religion. A group of hoggish people is importing terrorism in the country to disrupt the country's development.

He said, AUB holds regular anti-terrorism protest and the discussion meetings. We're counseling with all students. Terrorism prevention committee has been formed with senior teachers. They're regularly monitoring students.

Account BenefitWe are teaching students to develop the moral and human qualities. Our students have to participate in co-curriculum activities on a regular basis for the creation of responsible citizens. Therefore, there is no opportunity for this university student's to go astray.

The chief guest urged everyone to work from each respective position, so that the black shadow of militancy can be deported from the society.

Member of Board of Trustees and the Syndicate SM Yasin Ali, Examination Controller KM Monirul Islam, Director of Student Affairs Abdullah M. Taher, Faculty Deans, departmental heads, teachers, employees and students among others, were also present at the program presided over by the chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Mohammad Jafar Sadeq.
