Comilla University (CoU) was closed for almost one month on the incident of student killing. And the university will closed from September 2 to September 24, 2016 according to the University's academic calendar.

In this situation, the students fear the risk of session jam. Because, the final exams of 126 courses of bachelor and masters under 19 departments till September 01, 2016 have been postponed.

The clash between two factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League at the university campus on July 31, 2016 (Sunday) midnight leaves a student killed and five others were injured.
