Asian University Holds Human Chain against Militancy

Anti-militancy human chain at AUB

Asian University of Bangladesh (AUB) on August 01, 2016 observe human chain program against terrorism and extremism. Founder and Vice-Chancellor of AUB Professor Dr. Abul Hasan Muhammad Sadeq participated in the human chain.

In his speech, the Vice-Chancellor said, AUB has never tolerated militancy or terrorism, and will never do. AUB gives moral education to the students. Therefore, these students cannot be involved with any illegal works.

He said, "Islam always speaks of peace. There is no provision in Islam to kill innocent people. Today, those who are involved in terrorist activity cannot be a friend of Islam." The honorable Vice-Chancellor urged the teachers-students and others to be defensive against terrorism and militancy.

Taher including the different Faculty Deans, departmental heads, teachers, employees-staffs and students participated in the human chain program.

The human chain program was held at the Azampur area of the Abdullahpur-Airport road. Later, the human chain program becomes a rally and the rally was ended in front of the AUB campus.
