Workshop held at ASA University

A workshop titled "Quality Assurance in Higher Education" was held on the initiative of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB).

The workshop was organized as part of the ongoing quality assurance of education program conducted at ASAUB. The activities of IQAC of ASAUB have been conducted under the World Bank-funded project in Bangladesh 'Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP)'.

Honorable Chairman of the Board of Trustees of ASAUB Md. Shafiqul Haque Chowdhury was present as the chief guest. The workshop was presided over by the University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dalem Chandra Barman. Additional Director of the IQAC of ASA University Md. Moniruzzaman delivered the welcome speech.

Speakers at the workshop addressed various aspects of ensuring the quality of higher education in the technical sessions.

Head of the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) of University Grants Commission (UGC) Professor Dr. Mejbahuddin Ahmed, Quality Assurance Specialist of QAU Professor Dr. M. Abul Kashem and Professor Dr. Sanjay Kumar Adhikari were present as special guests.
