CVASU to reopen on April 27

The classes and academic activities of the Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Science University (CVASU) will be resumed on April 27, 2016 (Wednesday).

The halls of the students have been opened on April 25, 2016 (Monday). The Vice-Chancellor of CVASU Professor Goutom Buddha Das held a meeting with the head of departments, deans, directors on April 24, 2016.

As per decision of the meeting, eight students were banned to enter the halls. They are- Kollyan Ashish Bhaduri, Bhuvan Chandra Haldar, SM Abdus Salam Shimul, Ashik Hajra and Joginnath Chandra Dey of Veterinary Medicine Department and Sajid Mehera Shohardyo, Shafiqulk Islam and Forhadul Islam of Fisheries faculty.

VC of CVASU closed the academic classes and halls for sine dine on April 12, 2016. Following dispute over a cricket match and then the agitation and occupying of halls. VC of CVASU Professor Goutom Buddha Das announced that the academic classes and halls would remain closed from April 12, 2016 until further order.
