Bangabandhu's birthday at BUBT

The 97th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children's Day has been observed at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT).

On this occasion, a discussion and cultural program was organized at the Mirpur permanent campus of the University on March 21, 2016 (Monday).

The Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Mohammed Abu Saleh was attended as the main speaker at the meeting. In his long speech, the Vice-Chancellor talked about different aspects of the life of Bangabandhu.

University Proctor Professor Mia Lutfar Rahman, Treasurer Professor Enayet Hossain Mia, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities Professor Syed Anwarul Haque, and Head of the English department Dr. Md. Mohsin Reza spoke at the meeting among others.

Account BenefitChairman of the University Board of Trustees AFM Sarwar Kamal presided over the program. University Registrar, Joint Registrar, Deputy Registrar including teachers, students and officials were present at the time.

Later, a colorful cultural program was held. Students from various departments of the university participated in the cultural program.
