Orientation program begins at IUBAT

The five-day long 71st orientation program begins at International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) on February 28, 2016.

Nine departments of the university will separately celebrate the orientation program, which will continue till March 03, 2016. The new students of Spring Semester-2016 under the College of Nursing were given reception on February 28, 2016.

The transitional chairperson of Midwifery and Nursing department of BRAC University Dr. Zahir Uddin Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion. In his speech, he highlighted the importance of nurses for health-care and nursing education.

Account BenefitVice-Chancellor and founder of the University Professor Dr. M. Alimullah Miyan presided over the ceremony. Congratulating the students, he said, IUBAT is creating the country's first graduate nurses. The graduate nurses of IUBAT are spread around the world.

Coordinator of the College of Nursing Dr. ASA Masood gave the welcome speech. Teachers of nursing department, Samsun Nahar, Md. Sahedul Alam Chowdhury, Subhashish Das Bala, Mohammad Ali, Ariful Haque Tutul, Tamina Chowdhury and others also spokes on the occasion.
