Fresher's reception held at BUBT

Fresher's Reception for the students of 36th Intake, Spring-2016 semester, Department of English of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) was held on February 04, 2016.

The slogan of the program was "The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today". Professor Syed Anwarul Huq, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Humanities and Social Sciences delivered welcome speech in the ceremony and advised the newcomers to be sincere, serious and dedicated to studies from the very beginning of their university life.

On behalf of the Faculty Members of Department of English, Mr. Md. Abdullah Al Azad, Assistant Professor and Assistant Proctor inspired students to abide by the discipline and participate in extracurricular activities along with their study.

Account BenefitMost distinguished guest of the ceremony, Professor Mian Lutfar Rahman, Proctor gave some important directions to the students and advised them to keep ID cards, wear decent dresses and behave well. Dr. Md. Mohoshin Reza, Assistant Professor and Chairman, Department of English highlighted how a student becomes a complete human being with combination of his body, mind and soul through the university education.

A chorus song was performed and a documentary created by BUBT Reader's Circle was screened in the program. Finally, gifts were distributed among the newcomers. Faculty Members and students from different intakes of English Department were present on the occasion.
