Two-day int'l conf to start at SUST

A two-day long international conference on the initiative of Anthropology department of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) to begin on February 06, 2016.

State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan will inaugurate the conference titled "Contemporary Discourse on Anthropology in Bangladesh" as chief guest in the central auditorium of SUST.

The information was revealed at a press conference on February 02, 2016 (Tuesday) at the Department of Anthropology of the University.

Account BenefitThe International Conference on the occasion of 20 years completion of the department will be presided over by Vice-Chancellor Professor Aminul Haque Bhuiyan.

Former ambassador of United Nations to the Bangladesh Dr. AK Abdul Momen will be the chief guest of the conference on the second day.

Prominent American Anthropologist Dr. Therese Blanchet will be the keynote speaker in the conference. Researchers and teachers from various countries will take part in the conference.
