2nd National Debate Festival Held at Green University

Debate festival held at GUB

Green University Debating Club, one of the leading debating clubs in the country, has organized 2nd National Debating Competition associated with WaterAid Bangladesh.

The program started on November 26, 2015 and ends with a Grand Finale on 28 November 2015. Country's leading 16 colleges and 32 Universities (both public and private) have participated in this grand celebration of the Debate.

After the close and long battle of arguments, Dhaka University Debating Club became Champion and Daffodil International University became Runner-up in the inter-university debate competition.

On the other hand, Notre Dame College Debate Club-Gold became Champion and Notre Dame College Debate Club-Blue became Runner-up in the inter-college debate competition respectively.

Account BenefitIn the closing session of this grand program, Mr. Md. Shahjahan Ali Mollah, Secretary of Bangladesh Public Service Commission was present as the Chief Guest while Professor Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice-Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh presided over the session.

Ms. Farhana Helal Mehtab, Associated Professor and Head of the Department of Law of Daffodil International University and Mr. Md. Shahid Ullah, Treasurer of Green University were also present as the special guest. Faculty members and students of GUB, different debate teams of different educational institutions were present in the debate competition.
