7th Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad 2015 at SUST

Mathematics Olympiad held at SUST

The 7th National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad 2015 organized by Mathematics department of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) was held on November 28, 2015.

The Olympiad is organized by Mathematics department, which is supervised by Bangladesh Mathematical Society (BMS) and sponsored by AF Mujibur Rahman Foundation (AFMRF) in association with SUST Mathematics Society (SMS).

Top ten Contestants (including a female) from this Olympiad will participate in the National Olympiad that will be held in AF Mujibur Rahman Ganit Bhaban, Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Dhaka (DU) on December 11, 2015.

Students from undergraduate institutions i.e., public and private universities along with University affiliated degree colleges (situated in Sylhet, Habiganj, Moulvibazar, Sunamganj, Jamalpur, Sherpur & Netrakona districts) offering undergraduate course in Mathematics or any related discipline in Science, Engineering and Technology were participated.

Account BenefitA department/discipline of such an institution can have a maximum number of 10 contestants with a supervisor teacher, selected by the department/discipline. The host institution (Department of Mathematics, SUST) can have a maximum number of 20 contestants with their supervisor teacher.
