Art competition prize giving at DU

The prize giving ceremony of an art competition for children organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dhaka University (DU) on the occasion of the 40th death anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was held.

The Vice-Chancellor of DU Professor Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique was present as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban auditorium on September 03, 2015.

Dean of the Fine Arts Faculty Professor Nisar Hossain presided over the ceremony. Former Dean of the Faculty, Professor Abul Barak Alvi gave the welcome speech on the occasion.

More than one hundred contestants took part in the competition in three groups. The top 10 competent from each group are awarded.
