China to provide ICT Training

China will provide ICT Training to the teachers and administrative staffs of technical and vocational education.

Moreover, the Chinese Government will award scholarships to a large number of higher education students.

Chinese Education Minister Zhanyuan Du has confirmed about these cooperation while answering the request of Education Minister of Bangladesh Nurul Islam Nahid in a ministerial-level bilateral meeting at Qingdao, China on May 23, 2015 (Saturday).

Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Education Subodh Chandra Dhali confirmed these. Nahid thanked the Chinese government for increasing the amount of scholarship recently for the Bangladeshi students studying in China.

Account BenefitHe also sought support from the Chinese government in recognizing the International Mother Language Institute as a UNESCO category 2 Institute, which is expected to be examined and adopted in the upcoming 198 Executive Board and 38 General Conference of UNESCO in October and November, 2015 respectively.

Nahid is leading a Bangladesh delegation in an 'International Conference on ICT and Post-2015 Education', jointly organized by UNESCO and the Government of China which is continuing in Qingdao, China.
