BU Teachers' Team Wins the Friendly Cricket Match

Friendly cricket match at BU

A friendly cricket match was held at the Udayachal Club Field organized by the Bangladesh University (BU) to mark the Independence and National Day 2015.

The teachers' team of Bangladesh University defeats the students' team in that cricket match held on March 31, 2015 (Tuesday). The winning team took their victory by 6 wickets.

Students from different departments of the university participated in the Student Team and university teachers participated in the Teacher Team.

Student Team won the toss & chooses to bat first at 11:00 am and scored 140 runs by losing 5 wickets in decided 12 Overs. Babu scored the highest 60 runs for the Student Team.

Account BenefitIn reply, the Teacher Team scored 146 runs and reached their winning goal by losing 4 wickets in 11.5 Overs. Hasan was the Man of the Match by scoring highest 50 runs for his team.

Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of Bangladesh University, Professor Mostafa Kamal Uddin was distributed prizes among the winners after ending the match.

In the meantime, the University Registrar, Director (Administration and Security), Heads of various departments and a large number of officers, students enjoy the game among others.
