NSU raises objections

North South University (NSU) raises an objection about the recently published misleading, untrue, baseless news's in several daily newspapers.

That was same as destroy the reputation and tradition of the university. North South University has set an exemplary trend as a disciplined world-class educational institution. The university regularly maintains the evaluation of teachers' expertise. The authority works hard to keep the rules and regulation.

Teacher recruitment, joining elsewhere, traveling abroad for higher education etc are the normal processes in the growing private universities. But the newspapers published the wrong news without verifying the matters. The authority of the university sacks some teachers to protect the rules and reputation and some teachers taking the leave for higher education abroad.

On the other hand, the university appointed 70 full time teachers in last academic year. Note that, 37 full time teachers including 7 foreign teachers and 29 part time teachers were appointed in the current fall 2014 semester.

North South University recently booked 250 acres of land from Ashaloy Housing & Development Company with the minimal cost to develop full residential campus of the university. The authority of Ashaloy Ltd sells that land to the North South University in lower than half of the cost comparing their others customers.

And this is also wrong news about conflicts in two groups of the Trustee Board of North South University for buying the land. The news also said, the 250 acres of land was purchased with Tk. 500 crore by using the fake signature of several Trustee Board members. And there is no chance to arise the questions of forged the signatures of any Trustee Board members.
