Only the Darussalam Road Campus of Prime University is Legal

Six other campuses are illegal

A news has been published recently in several news dailies quoting the University Grants Commission (UGC). The news mentioned that the UGC is warned about to be admitted in 48 campuses of 12 private universities.

The honorable high court give judgment about the branch campuses of Prime University in (1) Uttara BNS Center (7th and 8th Floor), Sector-7, Uttara, Dhaka; (2) House: 352/B (Old), 31/B (New), Road: 27/A (Old), Dhanmondi; (3) Mokbul Plaza, 228/Ka, Progoti Sarani, Baridhara; (4) Center Point Concord (5th Floor), 14/A, 31/A, Tejkunipara, Framgate, Tejgoan, Dhaka-1215; (5) Mollik Tower (13 and 14 Floor), Zoo Road, Mirpur-1; and (6) Fooljan Tower, 80/C, Bibir Bagicha, North Jatrabari, Demra Road, Dhaka-1204 are illegal.

The necessary steps is already taken to evict those illegal campuses as soon as possible. Therefore, the students, guardians and concerned persons are requested to not be anxious about this matter.
