More Than 1 Lakh HSC Students Worried About the Good Result

Creative Method in Technical Board

More than one lakh students are taking part in the HSC examination under technical education board. These students will give the examination of five subjects in Creative Method (Srijonshil). But students did not receive adequate training on Creative Method.

However, the technical education board trained them a little that the students will not fail. 12 days of training needs. But they received 3 days of training from Technical Board. The concerned teachers said students can survive from the failing. However, students are worried about the good results.

Concerned says about the fear, teachers vocational education institution do not have enough idea about the classroom teaching, formulate questions, answer sheet evaluation. But they were teaches, formulates questions, and evaluates the answer sheets. Students will participate in examination without any idea of Creative Method. For that reason, they cannot produce good result.

In this context, Chairman of Technical Education Board, Professor Md. Abul Kashem has requested to the Director-general of Secondary and Higher Education department to include technical teachers in the training. Professor Abul Kashem earlier told the reporters, I have repeatedly requested the Secretary of Education about the training of technical teachers. But the technical teachers did not included in the training. Provide the training is not a work of Board, a three-day long training was given so that technical students will not back down that have been funded by the Board. He said that although the teachers of general and madrasha have got the training but vocational teachers are not trained teachers, he added.

According to reports, 3 thousand and 880 educational institutions are managed under the Technical Education Board. 2 thousand 197 of them are SSC, 64 HSC Vocational and 1 thousand 619 HSC (BM) educational institutions. There 25 thousand teachers in those institution's.

Since the governance of previous government, from 2009 the Creative Method has been introduced at the secondary level. This method is effective in mathematics also since January of last year.
