IIUC to Create Future Leadership through Standard Education

Farewell Ceremony at IIUC

International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) aims at building up future leadership through imparting education of international and moral standards.

Speakers said this at a ceremony organised to give farewell to foreign graduates on IIUC permanent campus at Kumira in Chittagong on October 5, 2013.

Addressing the event as the chief guest, IIUC Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. AKM Azharul Islam said the university achieved trust of the foreign students going beyond the boundary of the country.

Through completion of graduation the outgoing students have just reached the doorstep of success. But they would have to build up bright future, he observed.

Terming the university an asset of Muslim Ummah, the IIUC VC urged the outgoing students to work for IIUC in their respective countries and make efforts to restore the glory of Muslims through showing quality, efficiency, integrity and honesty.

IIUC Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Abu Bakar Rafique presided over the ceremony where IIUC Trust Assistant Secretary and Foreign Department and Staff Development and Student Welfare Division (SDSWD) Director Dr Kazi Dwin Mohammad were present as the special guest.

IIUC Founding Member and Controller of Finance Prof Ahsan Ullah Bhuiyan, IIUC Permanent Campus Chief and Science and Engineering Faculty Dean Professor Dr Md Delwar Hossain, Shariah Faculty Dean Professor Dr Giasuddin Hafiz, Business Faculty Dean Professor Dr Farid Ahmad Sobhani also addressed the ceremony.

Student Affairs Division Director AZM Obayedullah and SDSWD Deputy Director Md. Mahfuzur Rahman conducted the ceremony while Acting Exam Controller Md. Zahedur Rahman presented the citation.

The farewell ceremony was followed by a cultural programme directed and planned by Chowdhury Golam Moula.
