Jonkoping is a first growing city with a population of 1, 29,000 and is the center of a region with some 380000 inhabitants. History of Jonkoping University basically started from the year of1897.

In 1994 Jonkoping University turned into a complete university with three schools. Presently there are around 12,000 students whereof, 1,300 international students from 60 countries, 200 doctoral students , 13 Masters program taught in English, 3 Bachelor Program taught in English & 350 partner universities around the world.

The city is easily accessible and there are excellent links between Jonkoping and the major cities in Sweden. Just 3 hours drive from Stockholm, 2 hours from Gothenburg, 3 hours from Malmo. It is located in a country characterized by its innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

Jonkoping University now invites application from eligible Bangladeshi applicants to enroll onto programs listed below for autumn 2013 Intake.

How to apply:
Central application system is open until 15th January 2012 for international students including Bangladesh to apply through This link.
Student must create an account to apply through the central application system. Click on the link and click on the button top right corner of the page showing Log in (create an account). The page will guide you through the process. If you are unable to apply through the online system please visit Bangladesh representative office of the university. When online application is submitted print a cover letter and arrange to pay application fee SEK 900 along with your attested documents. Without application fees, your application will not be processed. Best option is to visit the office of GEE Bangladesh (representative office of the university) for a pre assessment. If your application is success, you will receive an admission letter from the university and you must pay 1st installment of your tuition fees before applying for a residence permit or visa.

How to apply for a residence permit or Visa:
After paying the tuition fees university will forward an unconditional admission offer to you. Without an unconditional admission letter you cannot apply for a residence permit.
