We are living in the world where English is the most spoken language not only in the country but all over the world. In order to communicate one need to learn English otherwise it can become really hard for a person especially if he or she is traveling.

In any field communication, whether it be professional or personal life is very important. The mode of communicating should be similar otherwise things can get difficult. As English is a widely spoken language, it is easier for a person to learn it and understand it for proper communication.

Students studying in schools should realize the importance of English language. Simply realization won't serve the purpose. What is more important is to put it into practice. Language cannot be learnt without practice. The more you practice, the more you can improve your language. English medium schools should give a serious thought over this issue and do the needful. Adequate environment must be created so that everybody in the school premises converse in English, or else children will remain as losers, and outsiders will grab all the opportunities.

So if you do not know English then you are keeping yourself away from half of the world’s knowledge. If you do not understand English you will not be able to even read what I have written. Students all over the world try to take English as one of their main subjects because now trends have changed and people have realized how important it is for us to learn English in order to communicate properly.

If one likes to succeed in life, in their career and in professional life, then learning English will be an added advantage for them. Every person now realizes that English is the international language. Besides a national language one should learn English to survive in this world. It is not that only in English speaking countries you are required to speak in English. This trend is also prominent in non- English speaking countries. if he does not know to speak in English, he will not get a good job. The interview conducted will also be in English so proper replies are expected by the people who are conducting the interview. There are lots of multinational companies all over the world and they hire people who know better English.

The global communication these days has made English the major medium language that is why many businesses hire employees who have good English speaking skills. If you have good communication skill you can work in these companies and you can brighten your future. This is one of the reasons why so many language centers are opening up worldwide which teach English classes. Even if you are thinking of finding a job overseas, you will need to learn English as it is the surviving tool for any employee. Communication would be good, you will be able to convey your message world wide and be accepted in the society well.

Everywhere you go you find English language. Shop names, street names, advertisements, notices on buses and trains. Even if you are not in an English-speaking country, there are often a lot of English words you can see when walking in the street, especially in big cities. If you don't know English you cannot understand it. If you go away from country and you don't know English it is very difficult for you to communicate with others. These days government jobs are very rare to get. So, the ultimate option left is the private sector. But when you appear for interviews, you may neglect because of your poor communication skill. Even though you have a sound academic background, you may face difficulty to converse in English at the time of interview. Either you can't express in correct English, or you speak broken English, or you can't speak fluently. And that way they lose the opportunity.
