Rangs giving opportunities to youths

Rangs is one of the best among country's large industrial companies. Nearly 15 thousand officers and staffs are working in many different sectors of this company.

The company is giving importance on youth. Chief administrative and human resources officer Mohammad Nazrul Islam said, 50 youths have been recruited in their different firms for the officer posts in last three months. And the recruiting process is running.

Nazrul Islam said, "We recruit skillful and intelligent youths through the year. Most of them are recruited for Sales, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Administration sections. The young engineers are recruited for different technical tasks.

Mohammad Nazrul Islam is the administrative and human resources officer for a total of 13 organizations under Rangs including Rangs Ltd., Rankon Motors, Motorbikes, Rangs Workshop, Properties, Rankon Engineering, Service, Automobile, Auto, Rangs Industry, Rangs Petroleum.

In February this year, he was recognized as the country's first "Hundred Most Talented global HR leader" at the 23rd edition of the World HRD Congress.

Nazrul Islam said about the youths, they are arranging a workshop titled "Talent Management Program" soon and thinking to recruit young people for both short-term and long-term. 30 (each) will be appointed in three terms every year. He said, they would recruit some directly and some from the internships. They want to build these young people in such a way, so they can take big responsibilities in the organization.

Nazrul Islam said, they're looking for those youths who want to take themselves at the highest level. But, most of the time they're not getting the eligible CVs. He said, we have received a huge number of CVs when the recruitment notice published. But we are getting a lower level of good CVs.

He said, "Job seekers sending CVs without seeing what we want. It's a big problem. "He thinks, most of the cases, CVs are sent without reading the job advertisement. The most CVs are borrowed from other 'copy-paste'."

"The applicant must keep in mind that the employer got 30 seconds only to see his/her CV. He/she will be called for the next step if the CV can draw employer's attention within this period. So, the CV should be written with care. And candidates have to bring those capabilities in front of the CV which were sought in the job circular. Read the circular several times if necessary", he added.

Nazrul Islam said, "There are three general questions, which we ask everyone around. A. Say about yourself and B. Tell some of your positive and negative sides. Another question is, C. Why you will be assigned for this position.

And positive impression has created in us if anyone giving exceptional and constructive answers to these questions or said some surprising things.
