Preparation for a prestigious profession

This year, the Teachers Registration exam will be held in slightly exceptional rules compared to last year. The examination will be held in two steps in accordance to the new rules of NTRCA.

Preliminary test in the first step and candidates who passed the preliminary test will be able to sit for written test in second step. The test will be held in three levels- school level, school level-2 and college level.

Time schedule of test:
Preliminary tests of school level and school level-2 will be held on June 12, 2015 and preliminary test of college level will be held on June 13, 2015 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The school level written exam will be held on August 28, 2015 and college level on August 29, 2015 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Eligibility for application:
Candidate's educational qualifications must be at least bachelor passed to participate in the Teachers Registration examination. However, only a third class degree or similar GPA would be acceptable in the total educational life of student. Newly appeared graduates can apply with the recommendation letter of institute head, mark-sheet and admit card.

Application process:
Candidates have to apply online for the preliminary test of teacher registration. After submitting duly filled in application form by uploading picture and signature according to the guidelines of circular via this website: (ntrca.teletalk.com.bd/home.php), candidates can see the Application Preview with own picture and signature on the computer. Candidates will get an Applicants copy with User ID, Photo and a Signature if the candidate is accurately completed application form. Candidate must download, print or save that Applicants copy. Admit card for preliminary admission test can be downloaded from this website using that User ID and password.

Test method:
Candidates have to attend one-hour preliminary test for 100 marks MCQ test. There will be a total of 100 questions from four subjects each 25. The questions will be appeared from Bangla, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. Preliminary test passed candidates have to sit for a 100 marks written test. 40 is the pass mark for both tests. Certificate of the successful candidates will be sent to the district education office which was mentioned in the candidate's application form within 90 days from the date of publication of the results. With that certificates a candidate can apply to any private secondary and higher secondary educational institutions.

There is no allocated time of taking preparation for teachers' registration examination. You can start the preparations immediately after the end of academic study. You have to decide that you want to make a career in this profession or not especially after getting the academic results. If so, then start preparation.

Caution:
Questions will be appeared from these subjects- Bangla, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge in the first step. You have to get at least 40 out of the total 100 marks. If you get less than 40, then you will be considered unsuccessful. In that case, you have to stop here for that year and have to wait for the next circular announcement. Comprehensive study is needed in 4 subjects. There is no restriction on the questions. So, it is difficult to be passed in that step. The success rate of previous registration tests are below 20 percent. So, only the hard work can bring success.

Written test:
The questions of written examination will be appeared from your own subject of Honors level. If you do not take this subject seriously, you may face uncertainty. So, repeatedly practice the previously studied topics. Take a look at the syllabus in the beginning. You can get idea about the questions method if you see the previous year's questions. Preparations have to take by creating a suggestion from the higher secondary and undergraduate level books. There are five broad questions in the written exam question. There will be five short questions, each with a value of 5 marks. Each question has a choice.
