We have to bring a lot of changes in our behavior when entering the work place after completing school, college and university. Office means new place, new environment.

Each office has its own culture, which you must have to maintain. Moreover, you cannot behave in the office as the way you are behaving in your home. Office is the "professional world". And so you should adjust your behavior.

Not just the work, you should know how a boss should be and attitude to co-workers in every aspect. There are some tips to become a good employee.

What you should do?
Maintain the office time. Arrive at the office on time all the time. Try to reach before the selected time. Leave office when the time is set for leave.

Inform your department in advance if you need to leave the office early or any possibilities of late to reach the office for any special reason. Do not gag the office unnecessarily. Inform the office if you unable to come to the office.

Be respectful to your boss. Of course you should tell him what you're doing. Finish the work in the deadline if you are given a job to do. Co-operate with your colleagues. Speak politely to everyone.

Discuss with seniors if you facing any problem at work. Help as much as you can if any co-worker wants help. Behave politely to your subordinate employees.

Behavior in the meeting:
Do not reach into the meeting late. Inform in advance if you unable to reach the meeting in time. Always attend the meeting.

Listen carefully, when a person speaks at the meeting. Do not create any interruption. Take permission from the chairperson when you have something to say.

Keep your mobile phone silent or turned off in a meeting. Do not get up until the end of the meeting.
