Fine Arts and Graphics at JnU

Universities are introduced new subjects every year in keeping pace with the time such as the Jagannath University (JnU) has been launched the Department of Fine Arts and Graphics this year.

Fine Art is made up by two different words- Arts and Humanities. Fine Art is the disposition of the people, by which people want to identify the object world. This is a technique which artists have reshaped our figure of views in a picture.

Student of JnU, Anik Saha said I dreamed of creating that art, which builds relationships with people and can raise the inspiration and possibilities in them. Jillur Rahman said the art is the language of express the human mind in the primitive era, the contribution cannot be denied today.

Dipika Bhuiyan said, to uphold the tradition-history of own country efficiently and to reach the arts and culture around the world is my passion. Babul Hossain said the art is the pursuit of artistic, it develop the creative talent. I want to do something better by holding it in the inner side and utilize my hidden talent. Other students also say this type of feelings.

Account BenefitThe first batch of students was admitted in this session 2013-14. Alaptagin Tusar, senior teacher of Chittagong University joined as the head of the department. Three more teachers also joined with him, Artist - Bazlur Rashid Khan, Rejaul Sadat and Imam Hossain.

40 students are enjoying the creativity here. 4 artistic minded teachers mixed up with the students like friends. Permanent building is not ready yet but has the classroom. There are different essential materials.
