Campus France in Bangladesh - Promoting Higher Education in France
France is one of the world's most popular study abroad destinations is surely no great surprise. It is also the world's most popular tourist destination by far, according to the United Nations World Tourist Organization. For that, Bangladeshi students are also eager to study abroad in a country like France.
To help Bangladeshi students about their higher study, CampusFrance, the French national agency for the promotion of French higher education abroad, has embarked on its maiden journey in Bangladesh for providing expert and personalized assistance for Bangladeshi students wishing to pursue higher studies in the European country.
Campus France is an agency overseen by the French ministry of foreign affairs to promote higher education in France across the world. At present there are 155 overseas office of Campus France in 116 different countries. It began a remarkable journey in Bangladesh on December 2011 when it opened its office at the Alliance française de Dhaka (Dhanmondi).
The Campus France office helps the local students finding their suitable program by providing them with the latest, accurate and reliable information on scholarships and on all opportunities offered in Bachelor, Master or PhD in France and by assisting them through the whole procedure of application to French universities and student visas.

In 2012, more than 260,000 international students - 12% of the nation's postsecondary enrollment - attend universities and other institutions of higher education in France. In fact, France hosts more international students than any other country except the United States and the United Kingdom and the same ranks than Australia and Germany.

Language is not a barrier anymore: many programs are now being taught in English, particularly in certain fields i.e. business and management, law and economics, engineering and technology, natural and environmental sciences, agriculture, language and the humanities, art, design and fashion. It is the official language of 32 countries on 5 continents. one of the six working languages of the United Nations, one of the two official languages of the International Olympic Committee, and one of the official languages of the African Union.
