Application can be done either Online or Offline. You can follow any one method.

Online Application Process:
First visit the website ‘www.pgdit.iitju.edu.bd’
Click PGDIT Online Application
Fill up the online application form

After successfully completing the application form, you will get a PGDIT PIN No. through SMS to your given mobile number. Please keep the PIN No. safely.

Now make a payment of Tk. 1000/- as application fee from your/agent's Dutch Bangla Mobile Banking account to IIT-JU biller code 333. The process is as follows:
Using your/agent's Dutch Bangla Mobile Banking Account, dial *322#
From the menu appeared, select 1 for Payment
Select 1 for Bill Pay
Enter 333 as Biller ID
Enter your PGDIT PIN No. as Bill Number
Enter 600 as Amount
Enter your/agent's mobile banking PIN
Collect Txnid (TRANSACTION ID) from the return SMS

Account Benefit Now, visit the website pgdit.iitju.edu.bd again.
Click Admit Card Download.
Log in with your PGDIT PIN No. and Txnid (Transaction ID).
Upload your scanned signature and passport size photograph.
After submission, download/print your admit card.
Keep your Admit Card safely and bring it on the day of admission test.

Offline Application Process:
Prescribed application form and prospectus can be collected from IIT Office during office hours (or can be downloaded from pgdit.iitju.edu.bd). Completed application form along with attested copies of all certificates/mark-sheets, two recent passport size color photographs and an amount of Tk. 1000/- (in cash) should be submitted to the office of IIT during the office hour (including Friday) between 9:00 am to 4:30 PM. Candidates must collect the Admit Card for admission test while submitting the application form.

Admission Test:
A one-hour Admission Test will be held consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) on Basic English, General Mathematics up to SSC level and some general IT-related questions.

Selection Procedure:
A list of successful candidates who are eligible for admission will be published according to the position of merit on the notice board and website (pgdit.iitju.edu.bd) of IIT. A waiting list will also be published. Students who have qualified in the admission test will have to appear on a viva-voce with all original certificates at the time of admission for final selection. However, no marks are allocated for this viva-voce.
